Saints of Old
I greet you in the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ! As we enter into these times of uncertainty, I encourage you all to continue to “rejoice in the LORD always, and again I say rejoice!”
The first week that I came to Marquette Bible as pastor I put these verses from Habakkuk 3 on a sheet and put them on my office wall:
17 Though the fig tree should not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food, though the flock should be cut off from the fold and there be no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3: 17-18
May we continue to be like believing saints of old, no matter life’s circumstances, we will “rejoice in the God of our salvation!” He alone is worthy of our faith, a rock and refuge for all who come to Him by faith.
